About
Diamantide is a female-fronted melodic progressive metal band from the San Francisco Bay Area. The project originated with guitarist and producer Max Maggiari and was officially formed in September 2023. The band blends heavy guitars, orchestral textures, and melodic vocals. Their self-titled debut album was released on February 21, 2025 via Wormholedeath.
The members come from different parts of the world – Italy, the Republic of Georgia, Hungary, and the United States – each bringing extensive studio and live experience to the band.
Members
- Nadin Zakharyan – Vocals. A singer from the Republic of Georgia, known for her powerful and wide vocal range.
- Massimiliano Maggiari – Guitars, keyboards. Italian musician, main songwriter and producer of Diamantide.
- Alex Sandor Tamas – Bass. Seasoned musician with live and studio experience across Hungary, the UK, and the US.
- Kurt Becker – Drums. Joined Diamantide in March 2026, bringing power and precision to the band’s sound.
